As part of the Illinois College of Nursing’s commitment to help raise awareness of nursing as an evolving and progressive discipline and to inspire and facilitate further scientific advancements in the field of nursing, the College is organizing a museum dedicated to nursing history and innovation.

Through the preservation and exhibition of nursing and medical artifacts, educational programs, research initiatives and community partnerships, the Museum of Nursing History and Science will strive to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation for the nursing profession and help promote its continued advancement.

With over 300 medical and nursing artifacts, the College is currently looking to find a permanent location to house the Museum of Nursing History and Science.
